Every morning
A proper cooked breakfast, made fresh each morning.
Leonie cooks it. There's always fruit and yoghurt on the table, and eggs any way you have them — poached, scrambled, fried, even omelettes. Bacon, mushrooms, grilled tomato, hash browns if you want them. There's even HP sauce, if you're English. She bakes the bread herself, so the house smells of it when you come down.

The bread is Leonie's, and so is the jam — raspberry, apricot, and a Seville orange marmalade.
Loose-leaf tea at breakfast —English Breakfast, Lady Grey, Earl Grey, chamomile, a few fruit ones. Coffee from the machine, regular milk and dietary alternatives always available.
Times
Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.30.
If you're booked on an early boat — Pennicott's often leaves at eight — say so when you book and Leonie will get up earlier.
If you eat differently
There's gluten-free bread in the freezer at all times, we cater to most dietary needs and we can usually work around most things with a bit of notice.
Tell us when you book, or reply to your confirmation email. It's much easier to sort out the week before than at half past seven in the morning.
